Comcast Summer Film Series July 28, 2008

The free seven-week 2008 Comcast Summer Film Series kicks of this Saturday, June 28 in Campus Martius Park with a special family-friendly visit from Alvin, Simon & Theodore, stars of the film “Alvin and the Chipmunks” complete with photo opportunities with the characters beginning at 8 p.m. The event is completely free and will feature a screening of the film beginning at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.). The Comcast Summer Film Series is presented by Radio Disney and features a full lineup of free movies for everyone to enjoy, including hilarious comedies, beloved children’s classics and a special screening of a film you can see at the Comcast Summer Film Series before its premier in theaters. Beginning at 8 p.m. prior to the screening of each film, Comcast will offer live entertainment, including special guest performances, activities, and much more – all before the movies begin at dusk.
