Colorful Birds Photo Workshop June 21, 2008

Red beaks, orange feet and bright blue feathers can all be found on birds at the Zoo. You’ll have a chance to shoot photos in two of the Zoo’s aviaries. The Vollum aviary is home to golden-breasted starlings and violaceous turacos from tropical Africa. Blue-streaked lories, green-napped lorikeets and many others that live in Lorikeet Landing are sure to make for some stunning photos.

Photo Skills: Intermediate to Advanced (Must bring SLR - film or digital. Telephoto lens 200mm or greater and flash would be beneficial.)
