The 10th Mountain Division turned the tide of World War II by defeating Nazi troops in Italy and following them into Germany. Learn about these elite troops from their climbing, skiing and combat training in the mountains of Colorado through their critical role in the war, to the legacy of their heroic actions. This exhibit includes photographs, maps, and military artifacts like a cook set with pot and stove, reversible ski parka, snow goggles, white mitten covers, climbing gear, a rucksack, an Eisenhower jacket, and much more. The artifacts are on loan from the Tenth Mountain Division Living History Display Group.
