Colorado Music Festival presents Kyoko Takezawa in the Brahms Festival July 13, 2010

Guest violinist Kyoko Takezawa, who electrifies audiences with a richness of playing, a virtuosic confidence of feeling, and a fiery intensity that establishes her as one of today’s foremost violinists, will make her CMF debut playing the Violin Concerto with the CMF Orchestra. Considered one of the most important works in violin repertoire, it is Brahms’ only violin concerto and was dedicated to his friend Joseph Joachim. Symphony No. 1 will also be performed.
