Donald E Lacy, Jr. performs his nationally toured new production Color Struck, a one-man show written and performed by this veteran Bay Area performer.With humor, Color Struck examines the differences and misunderstandings among different races that lead to racism and racist behavior. It is also the poignant story of how a light-skinned African American is treated from childhood by his own people. Told through acting, stand-up, music, spoken word, audience interaction and movement, Color Struck takes a fresh look at an age-old problem and forces us to explore the issues within our own families and community and ask the question, Am I color struck?
