CollegeAmerica Fort Collins is hosting a “New Year, New You!” Health Fair on Friday, January 14, to promote wellness and disease prevention. The fair will give interested community members an insider’s look into the healthcare profession.

What: New Year, New You! Health Fair
When: Friday, January 14, 2011
Time: 1 p.m.-7 p.m.
Where: 4601 South Mason Street, Fort Collins, CO 80525
Cost: Complimentary

The health fair will feature informational booths, activities, and a variety of complimentary health screenings including:
• Glucose and blood pressure readings
• Height, weight, body mass index, and skin fold testing
• Visual acuity testing
• Healthy living ideas and activities
• Compression-only CPR demonstration
• ECG screening
• Healthy foods
• Play Wii Fit and enter a drawing to win your own
The event is also an opportunity for people interested in healthcare careers to speak with current Medical Specialties students.

Many local businesses are participating in the “New Year, New You!” Health Fair through informational booths, demonstrations, and partnerships. Fort Collins businesses include: 24Hour Fitness, Northern Colorado Fire Safety Training Association with their Fire Safety puppet/clown show, and the Poudre Fire Authority
