Non-profit organizations in Canada operate on increasingly limited resources and rarely have funding to support core operations. As a result, they often work out of substandard facilities and in isolation from one another. Co-location of non-profits in a single facility is an emerging trend that directly addresses this need by pooling the limited resources of multiple organizations. In this workshop, Eli Malinsky will share the experience of the Centre for Social Innovation's co-location model – a shared space that supports the work of over 80 social mission organizations in Toronto.

Join us in this workshop and learn:
· How organizations can work together to achieve greater efficiencies and build a sense of community
· Explore the ways a shared space can become an animated community space that supports shared learning and new ideas for positive change in our communities
