Formed in 1998 the London-based, Brit-pop quartet Coldplay features Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. They made quite an impression in the U.S. with their 2000, full-length debut album, 'Parachutes,' and repeated the feat with their 2002 sophomore effort, 'A Rush of Blood to the Head.' Coldplay has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and won numerous awards, including seven Grammy Awards, six Brit Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. The band's latest release is the Grammy-nominated album, 'Mylo Xyloto.'
