Here for one night, New York Times bestselling authors and journalists Cokie and Steve Roberts share interfaith Passover traditions captured in their unique Haggadah, OUR HAGGADAH: Uniting Traditions for Interfaith Families. Enjoy a night hearing about Cokie and Steve's experiences as an interfaith couple, taste recipes featured in their book by Dave Wilson of Shaloha Catering and sample wine from Hagafen Cellars. Cokie and Steve will share their ideas for conducting an all-inclusive Passover Seder, focusing on the notion that celebrating freedom is important to all people, regardless of faith. This event is co-sponsored by the Marin Interfaith Council, Shaloha Catering and Hagafen Cellars.

In their first book together, the New York Times bestseller From This Day Forward (Morrow, 2000), Cokie and Steve shared their experiences as an interfaith couple. When they met in college, they both believed their different traditions-she is Catholic, he is Jewish-would prevent them from marrying. Yet in 1966, they found themselves together in the garden of Cokie's girlhood home, standing under a flower-covered huppah. Almost forty-five years later, they have learned not only to respect and reconcile the religious traditions they once thought might divide them, but to celebrate those traditions as well.

Steve Roberts is the author of From Every End of This Earth and My Fathers' Houses. He has worked as a journalist for over forty years, and appears regularly as a political analyst on the ABC radio network and National Public Radio.
