Lunch Meeting
EJB3
Abstract
The Enterprise Java Bean specification was supposed to make creating enterprise applications easier. However, many now view EJB 1.x and 2.x as heavy, slow, and needlessly complicated. EJB 3.0 focuses on simplifying development, reducing the amount of code needed, and producing a solution that will perform well and scale well. This talk will focus on EJB 3, how it is different from previous versions of EJB, and simplified development of Session and Entity Beans with EJB 3. In addition, simplified web development using EJB 3 and JSF with JBoss SEAM will be discussed.
Bio
Kevin is a Systems Engineer with JBoss. Prior to joining JBoss, Kevin worked in the middleware application market for 10 years as an architect and developer.
