This exhibit sheds light on the world's most popular beverage: coffee. Once considered a "revolutionary drink," coffee affects and connects us--culturally, economically and ecologically. 'Coffee: The World in Your Cup' will take visitors on a journey from first seed to final sip, discovering all things related to coffee, including our own role in the coffee industry. With over 500 coffee shops in Minnesota, the state's residents are part of a growing community of coffee, that can leave a big impact on our surroundings. This exhibit was organized by the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, University of Washington, Seattle.
