Yes, smarty-pant coders coming together for fun (surprises! prizes! drinks! food!) and a good cause... Come hang out with the hacker elite who are in town for CodeCon. The party is a benefit for the California Community Colocation Project, which hosts more than 140 servers for individuals and non-profits and activist groups. Party host is David Ulevitch (with some assistance from yours truly and Schlomo Rabinowitz, humble owner of venue).
Food is being provided by the wonderful A.G. Ferrari. We will have a variety of appetizers and small dishes served buffet style -- it will be enough to feed you after a long day of CodeCon. We will also be providing drink tickets for the bar. Finally there will be live music starting at 9pm downstairs with no cover charge.
Performing will be live music by San Francisco's Leopold and his Fiction, a bluesy garage rock band. Opening for them will be The Genie.
Please direct all questions to David Ulevitch at 415 971 6916 or david-cccp@ulevitch.com. He'll be at CodeCon all day Friday and most of Saturday as well.
Tickets are $35 paid in advance on Friday at CodeCon or at the door. (Don't forget, cash-strapped geekoids, this IS a benefit and you DO get dinner and drinks and two live bands! and so much more!) Cash and Check accepted. Paypal can be used by going clicking the link below. Checks should be made out to the Online Policy Group.

If you pay via paypal just make sure to email us with your paypal username if it's not obvious. (david-cccp@ulevitch.com)

Hit this first for the food and schmoozing then head out to the Flickr fest. I'm sure you won't be the only one.
A few people asked so... YES, there will be plenty of vegetarian options.

Ok -- More info will be posted officially but here's what it looks like:
1) There will be a raffle and it's gonna be sweet. In the same way that Ninja's are totally sweet.
2) There will be food. Lots of it. And it will be good. Catering by the delicious AG Ferrari!
3) Ticket price will include at least a couple drinks, lots of food and a raffle ticket. Prices probably in the $35 range.
4) If you have something good to raffle off let me know. Remember, this is for a good cause! :-)
Thanks,
David
