Join GiraMondo Wine Adventures as we welcome Phil Greene of the Museum of the American Cocktail. Phil will take you through a flight of classic cocktails, to learn not only the histories and colorful anecdotes behind these timeless drinks, but also the basic techniques, ingredients and tools needed to make great cocktails at home.
Learn what you need to confidently master four classic cocktails, the Martini, the Manhattan, the Daiquiri, and the Old Fashioned, and then take what you learned from the Daiquiri to then master the entire line of 'sour' cocktails, namely, the Margarita, Side Car, Whiskey Sour, Jack Rose, Rob Roy, Caipirinha, Pisco Sour, Bacardi Cocktail, Mojito, and other great drinks.
Throughout all of the practical knowledge you’ll acquire, you’ll be entertained with the histories of these great drinks, hear interesting and amusing anecdotes about the characters who’ve drank them, where they drank them, and other great lore. Come join us for a stirring evening of education and entertainment! We will drink the cocktail we make and you will get to keep your own shaker. Class followed by light appetizers.
