You are all invited to come and celebrate COCKBLOCK's 4 Year Anniversary on Saturday March 13th 2010. It has been an amazing 4 years in which we have consistently thrown party after party, month after month, NON-STOP, from when we started at the tiny little space at the Hush Hush Lounge to the good old Transfer and finally expanding to our current home, the Rickshaw Stop. The little party with the awkward name has magically grown into being San Francisco's most explosive dance party for queers, lezzies and friends.
Over the years, many people have met their lovers at COCKBLOCK, some have built friendships and I'm sure some have even had their hearts broken. Maybe you've made out with a hottie or two. But one thing is for certain, you have danced and you have loved. YOU made the wall-to-wall lesbian filled dance floor happen. We even have tons of party photos taken over the years to prove it. It is surreal that four years have flown by and we've managed to keep the party alive. Thank you for growing and evolving with us.
To help us celebrate COCKBLOCK's 4th birthday, we've planned something special for you. DJ Havoc, a SF club-scene veteran and the DJ for electro-pop group, the Cataracs will team-up for a special smash-up performance with the super sexy singer Dev of Indie-Pop records and chart-climbing hit singles, 'Like a G6' and 'Fireball'. Resident DJ and promoter, DJ Nuxx will deliver saucy throwback tunes to get you all hot and warmed up before the midnight hour. The conductor, Lady Tragik returns to host. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this one.
Join us on this epic night as we turn the ripe age of 4 and wish us many more years of amazing, homolicious dance parties to come.
