During Black History Month, Toronto's leading black dance company, COBA (Collective of Black Artists), premieres 3 new works and reprises Maa Keeba, its tribute to the late legendary singer Miriam Makeba as it presents Diasporic Dimensions from February 26-28 at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre.
Exploring the richness of Africa and the Diaspora from Mali to Haiti, the three world premieres are choreographed by Haitian choreographer Jeanguy Saintus, COBA Artistic Director BaKari E. Lindsay and COBA company member Julia Morris.
