Come explore the wilds of the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport for tracks, scat, and chews left behind by the diverse population of mammals that live on this unique island best known for bird observation. We'll begin our morning with an indoor presentation in the refuge headquarters' visitor center, where we'll discuss and examine trail patterns created by canines, weasels, rodents, rabbits, and deer. The refuge's extensive sand beach and meandering boardwalks through shrub thickets offer wonderful tracking opportunities. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details.
