The Cambridge CAP offers a recreational soccer program for children 5 ? 12 years of age. The
league offered by CAP is strictly a recreational league, focusing on fundamentals, equal play, and
learning basic plays. To complement the CAP soccer program, we invite players to checkout the
Glacial Drumlin United (GDU) soccer club. GDU is a soccer club comprised of over 200 players
from the communities of Cambridge, Deerfield, Lake Mills and Waterloo; with ages ranging from
eight to nineteen.

GDU has teams for elementary and middle school-aged children which compete at the recreational
level in the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association (MAYSA) (High school-aged players compete
at a more competitive level.) Teams play four home and four away matches in the spring, usually
on Saturdays or Sundays, and practice once or twice during the week. Practice generally begins in
mid- to late-March, and play generally ends by mid-June. The fee is $60 per player, which covers
MAYSA fees (including insurance), referee fees, and the cost of a uniform (shirt, shorts and
socks) and a soccer ball. Registration ends January 31, 2006 for the upcoming spring season.

GDU welcomes parents and other adults to volunteer as coaches, assistant coaches, and managers
for teams within the club. GDU is also is interested developing soccer fields in each of the
communities represented by its players and seek volunteers for field maintenance and
improvement in the community.

For further information or to register, contact Bridgette Schlicting at the CAP office in
Cambridge, or Ron & Anne Aplin, 4355 Krueger Road, Marshall, WI 53559 (608) 764-5006.
