Jake Williams started releasing fun house anthems like the hit 'Son Of A Gun' under the alias JX in the early 90's, and now over ten years later, with a new name, he is back slaying the dance floor again. Last years full length 'The Rex The Dog Show' is packed with high spirited, electro house and is frankly bloody awesome. We couldn't think of anyone else who could rock our last party out better. Born in Bombay to an Indian father and a mother from Panama, Archeo spent his youth in Hong Kong and Nigeria, but finally calls London home. Scene veteran Jonjo used to play the Club Mofo live! party on a kind of regular basis when it was at the garage in Highbury many moons ago so it seems only fitting that he comes back for our farewell do. Not only is he a VERY fucking lovely human being but he is also an extra rad DJ. A resident of the brilliant (sadly departed) Durrr party and head honcho of his own Hot Boy Dancing spot you can rest assured that your dancing feet will be in the very best hands. Woot!

Allow me to embrace my inner wuss for a second when i tell you that we are truely greatful and well humbled that anyone has bothered to turn up and party with us over the years. Respeck! We got your back for life! Clearly we are ridiculously biaised but Club Motherfucker Live! at its best has one of the most amazing atmospheres ever and thats totally down to the people who show up. It ain't rocket science but it sure is fun. Thank You x infinity!
Now the monkey is out of the bottle (and because people keep asking) let me tell you why we out this bitch. Weeeeell, we should have knew we were in trouble when we took the lyrics to Princes 'party up' a bit too literally because after 6 years of motherfucking every month we really just need some time out. Thats it brother! We need a rest, a break, a hiatus. Who can keep up this shit? I mean, i used to be kind of ok looking and now peep this haggard boat race. Its not pretty man. Zena is still a looker sure but have you spoken to her recently?that girl is LOONEY TUNES! We got nothing left to give, we are empty inside, we are broken. ouch! stop touching me there!... so yeah, we both need to chillax hard and anyway court enforced detox is not easy to shirk.
Club Motherfucker will still present bands worth seeing occassionally and we'll be at the Festival Republic stage all weekend at Reading Festival this summer (as well as guesting all over the shop when we feel like it.) see you around mofos, Love your fucking faces!!!!
