Open air concerts are the epitome of summer and what better place to soak it all in than at the Shops at Don Mills, where fashion, dining and entertainment come outside to play. The Town Square, nestled in the heart of the shopping centre, will provide daily entertainment including the Club Django Sextet on Wednesday, June 27 at 7:00pm.
The Club Django Sextet has been performing Gypsy Swing in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli for more than ten years. They’ve released two CDs and have performed at numerous Jazz Festivals and at different venues across Toronto. Johnny Farrell (lead guitar), Rodin Boshoer (violin), Gerry Duligal (accordion), Abbey Sholzberg (double bass), Tony Oldland and Andre Seguinot –the founder of Club Django - (rhythm guitars).
