For many generations, Club 4100 has been an active part of the Brooklyn community. Now the community is coming together to recreate that past. On Sunday, May 17th, Club 4100 and UMBC will hold a special event to celebrate the rich history of the area.
Activities and Events:
· Open mic featuring personal histories of Brooklyn residents, past and present
· Autograph signings from local sports personalities
· Appearance by members of Johnny Unitas' family
· Food buffet including Flank Steak, Pigs-in-a-blanket, Baked Ziti, Salad, Potato Wedges, Dessert, and Unlimited Iced Tea
· Silent Auction
· Kid friendly activities
This event is made possible thanks to a Faculty Innovation Grant funded by the Kauffman Foundation through the Alex Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and all proceeds will be donated to the Concerned Citizens for a Better Brooklyn.
