sorry that you didnt get your money back, it goes to the benefit of the topanga community house and the co-op preschool. the price is ridiculous, it used to be like 5 bucks when i was like 5. topanga is known for our crazy drinking and mary jane! im sorry you didnt like topanga days but locals are generally the ones who get most of the fun out of it. there was a kids corner with plenty of very fun games for little kids and no pot stench. and if you cant handle a walk, you cant handle topanga. topanga days (aka strawberry festival) is my fave

I just got back from this event. After walking nearly a mile to get to the entrance with my husband and my two year old in the stroller. We forked over 30 dollars for two adults and went in. Not five minutes went by before I was overwhelmed by the stench of potrulli, marajauna, and beer. I began to get sick and we decided it was not something we wanted our toddler to be around. So we asked for our money back. They refused to give it back. I spoke to the chairman "David" and he refused to give us our money back. He said that it was for a benefit. I asked him what the benefit was for and he refused to answer. I will never go to a function in Topanga Canyon again. $30 dollars was a lot of money for us and we had expected to have a good time as a FAMILY, thats not possible when intoxicated people are walking around and your two year old is breathing in marajuana fumes
