The future of clean technology as well as public and private investment in renewable energy sources will be discussed by industry experts on five different panels during the Clean Tech Investment & Growth Forum 2008, hosted by the Clean Tech Institute and the International Association of Nanotechnology, on Tuesday, March 18, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., and Wednesday, March 19, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., at the CTI headquarters, 1290 Parkmoor Ave., San Jose.
Industry experts in solar energy, clean tech investment, and renewable energy resources will deliver brief presentations, followed by questions from audience members. The five-person panels will discuss clean technology as it relates to public policy issues, investment strategies, tech leadership, carbon offset strategies and education and workforce development.
Keynote speakers for the event will be Congressman Mike Honda and Akeena Solar CEO Barry Cinnamon. The forum features 20 other distinguished speakers and panelists, including: Michael Pak, CEO of Nanoexa; Sue Kateley, executive director of the California Solar Energy Industries Association; Dr. Arjun Makhjani, President of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research; and Barry Worthington, executive director of the United States Energy Association.
