Clayton Film Festival, March 6-7, 2009

Webster Falls Films, a new film production company located in Clayton, NC, will host the first annual Clayton Film Festival, March 6-7, 2009 at the Clayton Center auditorium.

This regional event, dubbed "A celebration of student cinema," will feature student-produced, family-friendly films competing for in comedy, drama and documentary categories. The winning short films will be shown on March 7th. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit entries. Deadline for entries is February 10, 2009.

The kick-off to the Clayton Film Festival on March 6th will feature the debut of Webster Falls Films' feature movie, "Blaire's Bridge." This locally produced film, based on the novel by Clayton resident Mark Grady, features several local actors.
