Clay Center Earth Day Family Fun Day April 19, 2008

Enjoy a day full of Earth-themed activities. Beginning at noon, guests can visit the classrooms for an animal meet-and-greet with snakes, turtles and more. Earth Day will also include recycling crafts, story time and a special ladybug release at 1:30 p.m. in the sculpture garden. Also on tap will be Earth-friendly projects and demonstrations, face painting, games and giveaways. Families can see fuel efficiency demonstrations and a brand new battery-powered lawnmower. Guests are welcome to bring any recyclables from home to drop off in a special bin outside.
