Classical and Modern Sport Fencing April 6, 2006

A hands-on experience for beginners and intermediates on the techniques and strategy of classical swordplay and modern sport fencing, including a historical overview from the 16th century to modern times. Designed as an introduction to the three schools of modern fencing: historical, classical, and modern sport, with the emphasis being on classical and sport. Intermediates will be exposed to facets of the sport that may be new to them, in addition to sharpening their current skills.
