Class: Railroad Communications – Part I March 25, 2010

People who work around railroad tracks have developed several methods of communicating with each other. Learn Lantern Lingo, Morse Code, and Hobo Hieroglyphics. Use an authentic Santa Fe telegraph key to send Morse Code messages, and find out how hobos send messages to each other by playing the Hobo Hieroglyphics Game. Class is open to children ages 7 – 12. Pre-registration is required at least one day in advance, and class size is limited to 10 students. Part II will be on Friday, March 26. You do not need to attend both classes.
