CLARK STREET SPOOKTACULAR ANNOUNCED - SSA MERCHANTS HOST FREE FESTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The Clark Street SSA #23 is hosting the Clark Street Spooktacular on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (on Clark St. between Armitage and Diversey, and on Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview).

After registering at Halloween Headquarters, children will be able to participate in FREE crafts and games followed by Trick-or-Treating at businesses throughout the Clark Street SSA district. Visiting customers will enjoy the “Hair-Raising Savings” sales event at various retail locations, the “Scarecrows on Clark Street” display, free refreshments, a costume contest for adults and kids, prizes from area merchants and an afternoon concert featuring the Hoyle Brothers. WHO: The Clark Street Special Service Area (SSA) #23 was established to maintain and strengthen Clark Street as a vibrant commercial and residential district. The Clark Street SSA #23 has been tasked to ensure a clean and attractive environment for the community while fostering a collaborative partnership among all stakeholders and members of the SSA (businesses and residents fronting Clark St. from Armitage to Diversey and those fronting the south side of Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview).
