Nineteen-year-old University of Massachusetts student Clara Berry is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Kennebunk who is quickly become a musical sensation throughout New England. It is easy to understand why when you listen to her mature voice, thought-provoking lyrics, and soothing melodies that are known to resonate with both young and old alike. "Clara amazes me every time I hear her sing or watch one of her performances," says Deanna Champagne, who is from Kennebunk, and now living in Boston. Champagnes's sentiments are echoed by Tom Kovasevic, Berry's piano instructor for the past several years. "Clara has a unique voice and talent that is rare these days in a field that is so saturated," he says.
