Civil War Social September 21, 2011

The Manross Memorial Library will host a Civil War Social on Wednesday,September 21st. at 1:00pm Library patrons are invited to come for refreshments and fellowship and to commemorate the 150th. anniversary of the War. The program will feature a presentation on Forestville in the Civil War by local historian Mr. Tom Laporte of the Bristol History Museum, Civil War victuals & will be followed by a visit to the Capt. Newton Manross memorial at the Forestville Cemetery.
