Take a walking tour exploring connections with the Bitter War Between the States that also bitterly divided New Yorkers. Stops include sites associated with Abraham Lincoln, Walt Whitman, the attempted burning of New York in 1864, the bloody Draft Riots of 1863, a stop on the Underground Railroad; a Confederate prison camp; and places associated with the Union ironclad Monitor and an important hero from the Battle of Gettysburg.
