Civil Rights Discussion February 18, 2010

America in Solidarity presents their Third Thursday discussion. Every month they will feature a speaker or panel to discuss an issue relevant to working families in Pierce County. February is a discussion about Civil Rights. 2010 is the 55th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott sparked by Rosa Parks. How far have we come? How far do we have to go? Do Civil Rights still matter?

America In Solidarity is a grassroots effort of working Americans to focus our country's politics and economics on the necessity of job security, workplace safety, health care, wages and protection of the American worker from the Homeland threat of corporate greed.
