Civic Arts Presents to Host Tribute to John Lennon - A Day in His Life May 31, 2008

In this multimedia production, Tim Piper and his band take audiences on a journey to an era that influenced the music and culture of a generation and created a "Revolution". Piper revives the personality, appearance, mannerisms, and humor of the late John Lennon in a two-hour musical collage of sights and sounds that utilizes visual images, anecdotes, and note-perfect renditions of some of Lennon's greatest hits.

A multi-faceted, musician, actor and songwriter, Tim Piper has traveled with his band internationally, performing music made famous by The Beatles. Piper portrayed John Lennon in the E! Channel production, the John Lennon Story, and was chosen by CBS to appear as Lennon in its TV Movie of the Week, The Linda McCartney Story. In addition, he was cast as the singing voice of Lennon for the NBC TV Movie of the Week, In His Life - The John Lennon Story.
