City Club members and their guests are invited to drop by City Club Commons on Friday, September 26 for a "Final Friday" open house. Mingle with fellow members, learn more about the Club and meet local photographer, Joni Kabana, whose work will be on display.
Food and a no-host bar will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
Kabana's primary focus is portraiture, but she also relishes food, product, fashion and editorial image making. Her images evoke many stories, and she strives to portray the dichotomy found in people: from the tenderness of gangsters, to the bitterness of the pampered, to the complexity of a lemon dipped in chocolate.
Kabana is an international, award-winning, commercial advertisement and portrait photographer whose images instill within the viewer a desire to act. She has worked on assignments for many corporations, as well as Mercy Corps, The Children's Cancer Association, The Dougy Center and Heart Adoption.
