City of Eastpointe Holiday Tree Lighting December 1, 2010

The City of Eastpointe will host its traditional Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, at the Eastpointe City Hall.

As always, Santa will be the guest of honor along with two local children who will help Santa light the holiday tree. Entertainment will be provided by the East Detroit High School Select Ensemble Choir performing several favorite holiday songs.

Immediately following the tree lighting ceremony, the public is welcome to participate in the traditional Afterglow including cider and donuts provided by the Eastpointe Lions Club and visit with Santa at the city hall.

Collection boxes will be available at City Hall to accept donations from the public of non-perishable food items, canned goods, paper goods and personal care items, which will be distributed to three local food pantries to assist needy families in Eastpointe. Please join us!
