City Food Tours Presents: Valentine’s Aphrodisiac Dinner Event February 11, 2011

The 4th annual Valentine’s Aphrodisiac Dinner Event, back by popular demand, will be held Friday, February 11, Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Café Estelle. Café Estelle, a 2009 “Best of Philly” winner, is located at 444 N. 4th Street (between Callowhill and Spring Garden sts.), Philadelphia, Pa. This entertaining 2 ½ -hour dinner event will tantalize taste buds with foods believed to get you “in the mood” – while revealing the sexy myths and science behind them. City Food Tours co-owners and food experts Robert Weinberg and Eric Matzke will explain why single maidens were forbidden to pick avocados and the secret ingredients in Cleopatra’s legendary love potions, among other fascinating food facts. In addition to enjoying a casual 3-course dinner filled with aphrodisiacs like avocados, shrimp, exotic spices, ginger, sinful chocolate and much more, guests will enjoy an entertaining cooking demonstration by Café Estelle’s acclaimed Executive Chef and owner Marshall Green. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and trivia games for groups to compete for prizes.
