Citizen Diplomacy Event with African Women September 17, 2009

On September 17, 2009 the Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting the first event in their Fall 2009/Spring 2010 Speaker Series, in which African women leaders will discuss their roles in the judiciary system and politics.

There will be 11 women from Chad, Djibouti, Gabon, Mali, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, and Togo here to discuss their stories. There will even be an opportunity to participate in a roundtable dialogue with each of the women.

This event will be held in the University of Nevada Reno Joe Crowley Student Union Ballroom C at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public.
