Seattle moviegoers will have the opportunity to head outdoors this summer, as the South Lake Union neighborhood gears up for its fourth annual Cinema on the Lawn film series. Beginning on July 11 and taking place every other Friday until August 8, this year’s series will feature three high-school-themed films from different eras, music, a beer garden, themed photo booth, gourmet movie treats from Whole Foods Market and movie trivia with prizes. Admission is free to the movie screenings, which take place on the lawn outside the South Lake Union Discovery Center.
