Genie-winning filmmaker Velcrow Ripper hosts ?Cinema and the Sacred? ? a workshop exploring the relationship between art, spirituality and activism - on Sunday, October 24 at The Camera (1028 Queen St. W) from 5:30-7:00. Ripper will draw from his experiences shooting the hit documentary ScaredSacred. Featuring guided meditation based on the Tibetan Buddhist practice of Tonglen and selections from Ripper?s works.
