For CINECITY 2011 we are screening Dark Garden by Nick Collins.
Skeletal and silvery plants and their supports are conjured out of the black of the screen as a series of filmic epiphanies.
Dark Garden is a 16mm film of the filmmaker’s garden in winter. The film is 8 1/2 minutes long and silent. It will be screened every 15 minutes throughout the day.
