Cindy Sheehan is a founding member of Gold Star Families for Peace & a leading figure of the anti-war movement in the United States. A military mother whose son Casey was killed in Iraq in April 2004, Cindy struck a chord with millions of Americans when she camped outside George Bush's Texas ranch in 2005 demanding to know the truth about why Bush took the US to war. Cindy has since spoken to audiences around the world about her quest for peace & justice & to bring US troops home from Iraq. She will speak in Canada on a four-city speaking tour starting in Toronto on May 3.
