Get out your sombrero and get ready for a fun evening to benefit the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter. The Second Annual Cinco de Meow is set for Sunday, May 3 at El Sombrero, 1100 S. Elmhurst Rd in Mt. Prospect at 5 pm.
Inspired by the many homeless cats at Heartland, Cinco de Meow will help you get an early start on Cinco de Mayo with a great Mexican buffet, music, raffles, games, and prizes while helping the shelter’s animals. Event tickets are $25 per person and reservations are available online at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net or by sending a check to Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062 in care of Cinco de Meow.
Proceeds benefit Heartland Animal Shelter, a no-kill humane organization dedicated to finding homeless animals their forever homes while educating the public on spaying and neutering their pets in order to decrease pet over population. Because Heartland is a 501(c)3 organization, all donations are tax deductible. The shelter, which opened in 2002, is located at 2975 Milwaukee Avenue in Northbrook.
