A caravan provided by the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team will arrive at the Historic Hoosier Theater in downtown Vevay on Fri., Jan. 23 at 9:00 am.
In a brief visit that will last about a half hour, the public is invited to welcome Red’s Manager Dusty Baker, Jeff Brantley, George Grande, Joe Zerhusen, a current Reds (undisclosed) player and a “rising star” in the Red’s minor league system.
An official welcome and introduction will be presented by Mike Jones at the theater located at 209 Ferry Street. Emcee Grande will direct opening remarks from Baker, Brantley, Grande and a current Red’s player. A question and answer session will also be held.
Due to time restraints no autograph or photo sessions will be available, although cameras will be allowed at the event.
Information will also be available about Red’s ticket sales, as well as a possible Vevay Community Day to be held at Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark during the 2009 Red’s season.
