[HANDS-ON] Journey into the world of 3-dimensional mixed media art or assemblage! Prep a cigar box (provided) by sanding & gesso-ing inside & out. Create a background using vintage papers. Use vintage images & postcards to create a focal point & mood of your piece. Go crazy with Diane’s impressive collection of found objects: rusty hardware, piano & watch parts, jewelry, scrabble letters & more! Add color or stain to unify the piece. Leave with a cool cigar box assemblage (either wall-mounted or flat). We supply everything, but feel free to bring favorite photos (copies) or ephemera to add into your assemblage. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
