Chubby Checker makes his Miller Theatre debut June 9, 2012

Let's Twist Again! Chubby Checker makes his debut at Miller Outdoor Theatre on June 9 at 8:30 p.m. to celebrate nearly 50 years in the Music Industry. Chubby Checker revolutionized our Culture with “Dancing Apart To The Beat” when he introduced “The Twist” to the world. From Woodstock to the 21st century, artists & fans express themselves in a fashion that Chubby first presented to a national audience on American Bandstand in 1960. That’s the reason why Dick Clark said, “The three most important things that ever happened in the music industry are Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Chubby Checker.”

Free, assigned seat tickets are available at the Miller Theatre Box Office on first-come first-serve basis while supplies last between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm on the day of the performance. Remaining tickets are given out one hour before curtain. Assigned, ticketed seats will be held until 5 minutes before the performance starts. Only four (4) tickets per person.
