Imagine all the members of The Kinks join a freaked-out art-rock band that plays The Kinks cover songs. Chrome Cranks, the New York based garage-punk band from Cincinnati, have been cult favorites since the early nineties, and at the end of the decade even broke into the …gasp… mainstream. Consisting of Peter Aaron, William G Weber (GG Allin), Jerry Teel (Honeymoon Killers) and Bob Bert (Pussy Galore, Sonic Youth), Chrome Cranks presents a pulsing groove with an abrasive, high-energy delivery.
