Christmas on Walnut St/42nd Annual Christmas Parade December 5, 2008

This is an annual event, with the Green Cove Springs Merchants Association sponsoring the Parade of Trees and Christmas on Walnut St, which was recently recognized in the national magazine, Southern Living. Christmas on Walnut St starts at 5pm on Friday, December 5 and lasts until 10pm. Then, on Saturday, December 6, the city sponsors the annual parade. There will be over 50 entries for the parade, with Santa riding on the old Fire Truck. There will be vendors galore all along Walnut Street and Palmetto Ave on Saturday, with the event ending at 6pm. Free and open to everyone wanting to get into the holiday spirit.
