For the second year DePaul University will proudly host CHRISTMAS AT DEPAUL.
The event-a musical re-telling of the Christmas story-will include a combined 200-person community choir and 50-piece DePaul student orchestra and will be narrated by the very talented Phyllis Griffin, Associate Professor of Theater. This year's guest conductor is Josephine Lee, a distinguished alumna of the School of Music and Artistic Director of the acclaimed Chicago Children's Choir.
The performances will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lincoln Park. Unlike most Christmas productions in the city, there will be no admission charge, but we will request that a donation be made to one of the St. Vincent de Paul parish-sponsored charities. The intention behind this event is that we celebrate this joyous season together while ministering to those in need in the spirit of Vincent.
