In conjunction with the Christmas Tree Forest, a “Christmas Around the World” free Family Fun Day will take place Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. After the exhibit concludes, the trees will be donated to families participating in the annual Caller-Times Children’s Appeal.
Christmas Around the World is sponsored and organized by the Junior League of Corpus Christi , Inc. (JLCC), H-E-B and the Art Museum of South Texas. Festivities will include an appearance by Santa Claus, hands-on activities, performances by the choirs of King High School and Incarnate Ward Academy. In addition the first 500 children will receive an H-E-Buddy bag with goodies. Additional joint activities will take place at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, which will be free to the public as well.
