Christian Wiman: An Afternoon of Poetry and Conversation April 7, 2013

Time: Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2013, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Christian Wiman, an award-winning poet and the editor of Poetry magazine, will begin the program with selected readings of his work. He will then sit down with David Rottman, President of the Jung Foundation, to discuss his poetry and life experiences, including his view of the role of poetry as “enlarging and refining contemporary consciousness.” Their discussion will also include ideas expressed Jung’s article “On the Relation of Analytical Psychology to Poetry.”
