Christian Family Day July 30, 2011

July 30, 2011 is the date for the 5th Annual Smithville Christian Family Day!

This family-oriented, one-day Christian music and street festival is FREE to the public. Last year’s event was well attended with over 1,000 participants. Activities start at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 10:00 p.m.

This year’s event will again feature a full-day of Christian music with some of the area’s finest Christian musicians.

This event started when a handful of area Christians decided to take to the streets. CFD was initially started as a promotional event to raise awareness and support for the Nehemiah Fest. CFD features 10 of the bands that will be appearing in the line up at Nehemiah Fest V in a good old fashioned street festival in the Smithville Downtown Courtyard.

CFD is the Nehemiah Fest "pep rally", but it has actually grown to have an identity all it's own. Area evangelical Christian churches are invited to be a part of this free family-friendly event!
